No resolutions for me

Reading everyone's recaps has inspired me a little, but all of my pondering has led me to the thought that I don't want to make any resolutions this year. There are several reasons...
  1. 2007 has been VERY busy - lots of singing, stepping up involvement at the Donau a bit, buying our condo, Kristin's wedding, getting a new job, and I can't remember what else. I think this year I'll try to take it easy, or at least not add anything new.
  2. We don't have any major debt to pay off - yeah, there's the mortgage and student loans, but that interest is tax-deductible. We've each got a car loan as well, but I'll have mind paid off in 3 years, and T will have his paid in 4 years. We pay off our credit card balances in full every month.
  3. I already eat very well - the bit of chocolate and my almost daily small vanilla Frosty are certainly justifiable because of my almost daily large salad for lunch and my mostly vegetable dinner.
  4. I already work out 5 times a week, and sometimes I'll throw in yoga on a 6th day. Add to that my 20 minute to work from the train station every morning (and 20 minutes back) and that's plenty of exercise.

Maybe if there are one or two things I could do, they'd be to say 'no' more, even when I want to be involved, and to actually plan dates with Trey, as our not being together much this year has been an issue. Other than that, no resolutions...and after all of that justification I don't feel guilty at all. :-)

More tomorrow or Sunday - there's a bit of recap from our Ft. Worth visit this past weekend. Happy Friday for now!

I will agree you most certainly have had a busy year! You are way too healthy, the frosty is good for you!

I wish I had your will power! I try. but usually fail.

Maybe you should have a resolution to get a medium frosty once a month. :-)

I think the two resolutions you do have in mind are good ones. Both are important to your sanity. :)

woman, i don't know anyone who has a better "baseline" for life - good eating, good exercise, good spouse. Improving this is a long shot! :)

Wow! If I had resolutions, I could sum them up "Live life like Viki does". :)
