Happy Feast of Stephen

Good King Wenceslas looked out...I like that carol. :-)

Anyway, hope everyone had a good Christmas yesterday. I'm happy to report that all of the singing went well, even though I was terrified of a couple of things...1) I successfully popped the high B-flat at the end of "O, Holy Night" at around 1am, despite having been awake for almost 20 hours, and being very dried out, and 2) "For unto us a child is born" was great for midnight mass, not so much for the 10am, but Trey said that he didn't notice anything wrong and that it sounded great. Hooray for acoustics!

On a different note, please check out JJ's blog if you'd like to see a picture of the Music Box theater - he's got a great shot if you scroll down just a bit. For those not from Chicago, you can watch "Hardrock, Coco and Joe" too! Tell me what you think - it's one of my favorites!

Congrats on getting the high note when you were tired and dry. That has to be a feat! :) Glad all of your singing went well!
