Grrr

I would like to begin by expressing my displeasure with hotmail, which was intermittent yesterday and has been down all day. I do not like using my work e-mail for anything personal, but I can't stand being out of touch for so long! Ok, enough of that.

I promised to mention a bit about the Texas trip over New Year's - always enjoy going down for a visit so much. This time was especially nice, and I can't pinpoint a single reason: there was the big surprise on Saturday night when Kaitie came out to Trey's mom's for the party (I screamed I was so excited), our getting to see many of T's friends, meeting Justin & Holly's perfect new baby boy, "picking" pecans at the farm, and many other things. We were also able to start the collection for our Texas bathroom, finding some lone star shower curtain rings - hooray for the tourist stores! Unfortunately, I was unable to find a "You may all go to hell and I will go to Texas" sign/magnet that was small enough to be discreetly hung in my office. :-)

Other than that, I'm enjoying this last week of calm before rehearsals start coming at me again. This week Trey and I were both home Monday, and will both be home Thursday - we don't know what to do with ourselves! Actually, we've actually gotten to cook dinner together a few times, even if dinner is basically just heating up frozen stuff from Oma and supplementing it slightly (we have NO room in the freezer, but I'm not complaining because this stuff is good!). Monday we had goulasch from Oma (which I do know how to make anyway, I just don't have 3 or 4 hours) and I made the spatzle to go with it.

Ok, that's all for now - need to get myself together to get to the opera!

that's quite a phrase ("go to hell...") - never heard that one! ha!

I love that phrase! :-) Thank goodness for Oma stuffing your freezer. Sounds like you need some friends to come raid your freezer. :-D
