Blogger won't let me post a title!
I've mentioned before that my building has old-style elevators, run by bonifide elevator operators, but the Sun Times recently did an article on the two main ones. Click here to read...
Not much new this weekend - with T in Texas I had time to do some extra DLK work so a) I stopped feeling quite as behind and b) I could bank a few hours for the next days off I want to take whenever I want/need to. Happily, Trey ended up getting home several hours earlier than planned due to a very nice American Airlines agent who was kind enough to put him on a direct flight from DFW to ORD - he'd originally booked a ticket that had him stopping off in Des Moines because it was considerably cheaper. We took advantage of the evening by going out to dinner together - first time in well over a month! - and having some great new wine when we got home.
Oh, and for all who didn't read the comments on my previous post, I think my mom's is funny. :-)
Happy Monday all!

So, does your mom have a history of getting arrested?
glad trey's home safe and sound!!
i like your sassy new little avatar!
went from classy to sassy. not that she's not classy now. but you know. (wasn't the last one in a long black dress and song pages?)
How is D'daddy doing?
I need a good glass of wine right now!
:) Glad all is well.
Your mom is funny. But really, did she get arrested in Hungary before?! Surviving Hungary is quite a good way of summing up a holiday there, at least if you look beyond the well tread paths. Hope she's fine in good old Deutschland.
I have never been arrested in Hungary or anywhere else for that matter, but do have a reputation of getting roudy on some of these European trips. My friend Stefan, who organized the Hungary portion of the trip is famous for organizing group "Zaehne putzen" (teeth brushing) which is code for having some Snapps together by passing the bottle around and around until it is empty.
I surrived a full week of folk dance and cultural classes as well as sightseeing and partying and "Zaehne putzen" and not much sleep.
