I'll begin by answering Martha's last questions from yesterday...First, I don't think the pasta was too garlicky because I couldn't taste it after dessert, Trey and I both like lots of garlic so that wasn't an issue, and our dinner wasn't Valentine's Day (I was just posting late). Do you really think I'd have gotten married on Valentine's Day? Goodness.
And yes, I did have the day off yesterday. It was spent taking Siggy in for a dental cleaning and being sick myself. I'm actually sitting at home now because this morning I was so stuffed up I couldn't see straight and my eyes were puffy on top of it. Could be so much worse. I could be not at home and be sick, and pissing off everyone else at work because I was there sick. Thank goodness for sick days.
Though there's always something to do and usually I feel bad for not doing it, today I'm absolving myself from work, aside from getting out the Lysol wipes for the keyboard when I'm done typing. Sepp has been very sweet, sitting in my lap and purring for the past several minutes, and even Willie has come out to say hello when he usually sleeps on the bed all day.
Siggy, on the other hand, is terrified of me. I gave him his antibiotics and pain medication at 6:30 this morning and he's been hiding from me ever since. He was actually behind the couch in this room until I sat down, at which point he hauled ass out of here. He should begin to trust me again just in time for me to give him more medicine at 6:30pm.
So, we're a funny bunch in my house right now. I just hope I'm better by tomorrow - we have opera tickets. :-)

I hope you feel better, especially in time for the opera!
i love how you're still cleanliness aware even when youre sick and could make an excuse to have trey do it. :)
I am so jealous you get to go to the opera all the time and found a guy who loves it just as much as you do!! Your world is so different from mine but I still love reading about it! Sounds so interesting and fun!
By the way, my blog isn't completely not in action... just hard to remember to write because no one ever looks at it anymore but I'm trying!!! ha
Pets are usually sweet when we are sick. It's like the know. :) Poor Siggy...hopefully he gets over his fear quickly. That's the difference between cats and dogs. Dogs are stupidly tricked with pills in treats and think it's great. Cats usually have to have the medicine stuffed down their throats because they're too smart to be tricked. :)
Hope you all feel better soon!!
