Once in a lifetime deal

If anyone would like a copy of Wednesday's Chicago Tribune, either the paper or a poster of the front page, let me know asap. Prices online are nuts, but they're selling them next door for 75 cents for the paper and $3 for the poster.

If you want anything, let me know asap and if they're still selling them in the Tribune lobby I'll pick it up, mail it, and let you know how much the shipping cost...

That's crazy! It'll be even crazier in 60 years when we watch the news and someone pulls it out or sells it on Ebay... And I bet when it does resurface, the bigger news will be "wow, and to think newspapers cost just 75 cents back then!" or "newspaper? That is soooo primitive. I didn't know they EVER had those past the 1800s!"
If I owned one? In my next move, I'd probably accidently throw it in the recycling anyway. I have too much clutter as is, I don't need any non-essential stuff, no matter the great historical significance. :( Shoot, I need to go through a lot of my stuff that actually MADE my last moves and throw some out...

I was just going to say, you were lucky: we had to pay between 1-1.5 euros each for the Wednesday paper on Thursday. But then, sounds like we got lucky. Five dollars for old news?! Holy Cow.
