Friday!

God, what a week. I'm so glad it's the weekend, and you know, as exhausted as I feel, and as busy as this weekend is going to be, I actually still feel like being social. This is not normal for me. Usually with a Saturday rehearsal from 10am-1:45pm, 5pm mass, Sunday 11am mass, and afternoon gig at 3pm, all I'd want to do is veg the rest of the time (once you add in travel & call times for all of that and you're looking at another 8 hours not at home relaxing or trying to keep up with cleaning my house).

This week I instead decided to invite people over for dinner Saturday night instead, and I'm looking forward to it and not the least bit anxious. I think my lack of anxiety (over not having a clean house, not having enough down time) also has something to do with the fact that Trey has been notified that he will be the one doing the majority of the chores this weekend. Normally I don't leave him that much, but this weekend he has nothing going on and I have 3 gigs and a rehearsal so he get to do the housework. Woo-hoo! Can you tell I'm excited? :-)

On that note, I just realized Trey has not blogged for almost two months. If he does not blog within the next week, and keep it up, I will move him to my inactive blogger list. He he.

sounds like a great weekend was planned (esp since you were getting out of doing the housework) - can't wait to hear how it went.

I love getting out of housework, especially when the cleaning occurs anyway. :)

I prefer doing the housework as a team. Although I don't like doing it as such but feel so bad if I haven't done my part. :)
Hope your weekend was fine!
And you're right about Trey...
