Sorry!

I've been a bad blogger...things have been busy. They will stay that way at least through very late this Friday, so here are a few brief updates:

1 - The weekend of May 4 I sang four church services, the last of which included me doing a solo: the "Alleluia" from Mozart's Exultate Jubilate. It's hard - fast with a lot of runs. I picked it up a year ago and have been picking it up, then putting it down every couple of months. I was paranoid going into the weekend, but running through it Saturday went very well. I am also happy to report that on Sunday during mass I sang the shit out of it. :-)

2 - This past weekend was so nice. I'm so glad to have been able to get out of town and go to Akron for Sarah's graduation and see the girls. I need to get to Ohio more, but if Sarah wants to come visit me...watch the United e-saver fares to and from Cleveland! Right now the weekend before you're looking at coming out, there are e-saver fares for only $145 round trip!

3 - My brother Tony is a fun guy. He was flying in from Brazil on Sunday, and after we were both delayed a couple of times he ended up getting in about 45 minutes after me so I went and met him at his gate. He had a really big trophy with him that the soccer team had won in Brazil, only the little soccer guy had fallen off (little guy made it all the way through customs in Miami before the accident). Anyway, it was really nice to see him and chat with him for a while.

Ok, that's all - more later on this weekend!

Congrats on the singing. I would like to hear you sing more. I think the only time I heard you was at Karens Wedding. :)

I laughed out loud about the broken trophy. I totally see it happening on the plane.

Imagine my surprise when I was handed this topless trophy and told it was my mother's day present.....

Four churches in four days... "Hallelujah" is the right expression, I guess! :)
Poor trophy!

The trophy story makes me laugh. Sounds like something that would happen to me (except I wouldn't actually win a trophy, so maybe not...).
