So, Trey and I got down to San Antonio Ok, got back just fine, and had a great time in between. More about our trip later, but there are two things that I definitely need to blog about right now:
1. A priest and rabbi walk into a bar... Well, not really, but Trey and I did see something very unusual after getting back to Chicago. We're walking out of the K concourse and were almost to the end, and walking towards us we see a friar (complete in the monk robe, sandals and all) and a couple of Hasidic Jews (the guys with the curls). It was bizarre. They had probably about 25 feet in between them, so they were almost at opposite ends of the corridor, but they were going in the same direction. It was just so weird to see.
2. Animals... As doing the waving the bride and groom off picture on Saturday night toward the end of the reception, we were all lining up on either side of the path they were to follow. Well, as the first of us to walk down were doing so, an armadillo ran across the path...it was only about 3 feet away from me. How cool is that? I get so excited about special Texan animals like that. :-)
Happy Monday!

HAHAHAHA!
The only thing better would have been if they were headed towards a bar....
And as for the armadillo - NO FREAKING WAY! How stereotypical is that? I love it!
Glad to hear you BOTH were able to make it to TX.
I've never seen an armadillo in real life! I'm jealous!
texan animals- ha! i ran over an armadillo in a car once (i was in teh back seat) - did $2500 in damage to the car (that the family bought the day before the trip!)
Those bugger's shells are HARD

I had to google armadillo. But then I found it funny. :) And the monk/jew composition makes you want to snap out the camera, huh? Glad you had a great time in Texas!
P.S.: Very cute new avatar!
