Did you feel it?

So, apparently we had an earthquake in Illinois yesterday - it was down south in West Salem. I'm actually wondering if anyone in Cincinnati felt it, as you guys might actually be closer to West Salem than we are up in Palatine?

We didn't feel it - I was dead to the world at 5am, only becoming conscious at 5:22, long after it was over. My boss, who lives on the opposite side of Chicago, so about an hour and a half south, did feel it. I wonder if Kristin felt it, because she's in Carbondale, which is just across Illinois, and the southern part of the state is much skinnier than the northern part.

Whatever. Hopefully it won't happen again any time soon!

I actually woke up out of a sound sleep. At first I thought it was Schroeder dreaming, but then I realized he was just as freaked out. Danny had thought I was imagining things, but the alarm clock that had just gone off confirmed what had happened. Crazy.

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA.

Katrin cracks me up!

I asked my parents if they felt it, and they did not. I heard reports people in FL felt it.

I wish I felt it!! I did wake up--no clue why and didn't check the clock, so maybe I did and don't know it :)

Jen - you could have. I had a dream once here that there was an earthquake. I didn't wake up immediately, but I was only asleep for about an hour and a half. In the morning I heard that there was an earthquake and that it occurred within that hour and a half that I was dreaming about it. I'm convinced that it triggered my dream but wasn't enough to wake me (It was a dinky 2 or 3.something. Then again, I doubt an 8.2 would wake me.....)
