So, why is it that I cannot get WGN to come in on the radio in my office, despite the fact that a) they're a superstation, and b) they broadcast out of the building NEXT DOOR? I don't get it. Anyway, happy opening day to the Cubbies. Is this the year? As long as the rest of the year is better than the weather on opening day, I'd be happy.
This weekend was busy - Friday night Kindergruppe, Saturday morning rehearsal, Sunday morning church and afternoon concert. I even found time to workout, and Trey and I actually went out to dinner with my friend Laura and her husband Scott. Singing is especially fun this week because I feel like I sound 5,000 times better than I did a week ago being sick. :-)
I have the urge to get overly reflective on some of the music we're doing for this concert, but I'll spare you that for today. We give another performance tonight, and a final one Friday night, so watch out!
