Shout out to T3

Short post today - I just want to take a moment to tell you all how awesome my husband is.

Things have been a little stressful lately with us being so busy and not able to spend enough time together. Finances have been tighter than we'd like as well - Chicago's an expensive place to live! I think it was the worst though a couple of weeks ago - Oma was giving me a hard time about when Trey and I were going to buy a house - I pretty much read her the riot act and told her that if she wanted to give us a downpayment, great, but if not, don't give me a hard time. Anyway, although I've done really well lately not letting things get to me, I've always been a worrier so it's hard not to let stress snowball.

Well, our third anniversary is coming up in February, and we're going to be taking a mini-vacation in San Antonio (we'll visit the fam in Ft. Worth on either end, too). Trey has been so excited about planning and did all of the finding us a hotel, reasonable flights, and is planning some type of special anniversary dinner. I feel so lucky that a) not only does my husband not forget important days like anniversaries, but b) that he's so into celebrating them. Thanks schatz - I love you. :-)

Ahh good ole San Antonio. Holly and I flew down (since we can do that for free) during the summer and had lunch and dinner on the riverwalk and came back home. I love a good San Antonio vacation every now and again...

Have you thought about taking out a loan that doesn't require a down payment? There are some out there. Not saying you HAVE to get a house, but sometimes it's nice to know I can put my butt through the wall *ahem* and not have to worry about anyone fining me.

The VA offers no down payment loans...we've considered it, but would really like to put something down if we can.
