First day on the job

So, my supervisor is in a meeting and I really don't know what else there is to do because the other person I'm going to be working with is catching up (he just got back from vacation) and about half of the office is out today. So far it's just fine here...probably will be a little boring, but hopefully it'll liven up when more people are around.

This weekend was great, starting with deep dish pizza on Friday night. We've been craving it for weeks and after Trey got back from Omaha, decided that it would be the perfect dinner. :-)

Saturday we picked up my new car and showed it off a little before we went to a wine tasting. We got a little bit of a scare Saturday afternoon when we found our Mark was hurt in a fire academy drill, but calmed down when we learned he was Ok and in good spirits. Sunday morning was a visit to a new church for us - we're trying out a few of the Episcopal ones in the area - before we went to another wine tasting.

That'll be all from me today, except that I need to add a disclaimer not to harass me if I don't post very often for a while. We don't have the internet at home, and don't have a computer there anyway, so besides my new job (don't want to do personal stuff here just yet) all I've got for internet access is the library and my mom's house. With the commute and all, I'm basically not home from 7am to 7pm, so the rest of my days will be short. Things will be better once a computer arrives at home, but don't yell at me too much until then!
