So, last week went by way too fast, but it was successful all around. Had a great lesson on Tuesday, good rehearsals on Wednesday & Thursday, and I can't remember what we did Friday night, but that's fine.
Our painting this weekend went well, though priming sucked - I wanted to kill myself priming the ceiling. We decided that next time we paint (which may be this weekend as Trey purchased the wrong color paint and we now have a couple of cans to use) we will not prime. Anyway, the bedroom looks fantastic now. :-)
Monday we had a bunch of folks over and made fajitas - it was really a nice time, even though we ended up not being able to be outside due to some cool weather. A few folks did sit outside, but the majority of the 15 people ended up in our living/dining room!
I'll do my best getting some pictures of our weekend work up tonight...

What spices do you use when you make fajitas? Do you use a store bought fajita mix?
I make fajitas sometimes and use taco seasoning, but would like to spice it up some. :)
yes - i want to see the before and after shots!
priming... go you. more effort than i normally put in.
Oh, no - you can do fajitas much better without taco seasoning. We have a dry rub for steak (garlic, salt, paprika, cinnamon & cocoa) and a marinade for chicken (honey, lime juice, garlic, & cayanne pepper). The rub for the steak is so good it's insane. E-mail me a reminder and I'll send it all to you if you want.
I loath priming...therefore, I avoid it whenever possible. I don't think we will be able to avoid it when painting Max's next room in the house.
