Not that I don't have a million other things to do...

I really don't have time to blog, but I love blogging, so I'm hoping that posting here will allow me to do something enjoyable for 10 mintues, and in turn lower my stress level... :-)

Work has been crazy all summer. In addition to my normal workload, I've got a bunch of major projects going on. Last week I finished up 2 of them but my next one is an event next Friday, which involves planning and running our company's version of Take Your Child To Work Day (we do ours in the summer so as not to make the kids lose a day of school). I'm so thankful I know how to plan lessons, or I'd be up a creak.

This week I had Monday and Tuesday night off, but have a dress rehearsal tonight, concert tomorrow, Kindergruppe Friday, wedding gig Saturday afternoon, concert Saturday night, 2 services Sunday morning, and an audition on Sunday afternoon. I'm so thankful that my cats still love me and want to cuddle even though I neglect them for most of the day...and I'm thankful that Trey has a lot of his own stuff going on so I don't feel like I'm neglecting him!

So, that's what's going on these days. Here something nice today, though - this morning I had great stuff come up on the iPod. It started with the Prelude & Liebestod from Tristan & Isolde for the last part of my train ride, then a couple tracks later was the Blue Danube waltz, and a couple of tracks later and finishing up as I walked through the front door of my building was Rosen aus dem Sueden (another Strauss waltz).

This all made me think - does Miller Park still play Also Sprach Zarathustra followed by the Blue Danube when they close the roof after the game? I know they used to. Perhaps I should ask Dale.

Have a great Wednesday!

I think it's fabulous that even though you and Trey are both quite busy, you somehow manage to be busy at the same times so you have time together.
