Hump day

So, it's not like this week has been all that bad, but I'm still so glad we're almost halfway through. Last night Trey and I had the good fortune of being home together to cook a simple dinner, cuddle up on the couch, catch up on some TV and watch the end of the Cubs game. It was really nice. :-)

The rest of the week has been fun - yesterday I got a great shot of a goose in the middle of the loop, and I'm going out at lunch today so I may take some pictures of the beautiful flowers down here. Now if I could only get them off of my phone...

Yesterday while I was out I did run into something wacky, too - there were some folks from the Ellen Degeneres show outside of our building with a big cardboard cutout of Ellen, asking passers-by if they wanted to dance for the Ellen show. I declined, but last night saw a commercial for the Ellen show that included clips of all sorts of people dancing at various downtown locations. I'm really glad I decided not to do that!

And finally, from Apostrophe Abuse, here's the worst one yet: Hey Kids: Your on vacation! It's sad, and probably half the reason why American kids' grammar is so bad.

We're over halfway there!

Thanks for posting - only person to post today and helping keep me entertained (to be fair, I didn't post today either. But then, this would be the extent of anything I posted: "OWWW oowww ouch!").
Have a Healthy Happy Hump Day - I can't wait for the weekend!!!

I totally would have shamed myself and danced for the Ellen commercial. I'm weird, I know. But I've had more embarassing things happen in front of rooms full of kids....so dancing in public, not so bad! LOL!
