I'm such a dork - I'm typically the last one in my department, as everyone else works 8-4:30 due to daycare accommodations and such. I really wanted to leave 10 minutes early today, but could not bring myself to do it. I'm worried that something is going to happen (i.e. someone has a heart attack) and someone's going to call HR. If I left 10 minutes early I could just make the 5:16 train, which would get me home by 6:10. I'd get home 20 minutes earlier. Man, I'm such a dork.
Another random thought - Trey sent me a plant for my office during my first week here. It's nice to have something green because I don't have a view of the outside (which I'd trade for having my own office any day). The incredible part is that I haven't managed to kill it yet! I put it by the windows before I leave each weekend so it gets sun, but I'm surprised I haven't over/under watered the thing.
Ok, enough for now. Sorry I've been bad at posting - I'll try to work on that next week...have a good weekend!

V, it was great to see you and Trey over New Years! Have you tried to start growing those cat plants yet? Let us know how it goes.
I know how you feel about leaving early. The guys in my office never work. (At least it seems like that cause my last office was way undermanned and had a lot more work to be done.) So even though they leave early to go work out or something I feel really guilty about doing it myself.
I am the same! I can't bring myself to leave 10 minutes early, even when I don't have anything left to do. And I usually start 10-15 mins earlier in the morning, so it would be okay...
I can't leave 10 mins early...but apparently I have no problems showing up 10 mins late...hmmm...(ok, that's probably WHY I can't leave early...)
I don't have a green thumb, either. It's sad. I hope to have a small garden/potted veggies/herbs some day...and I'm scared I'll kill everything if I can't even keep a little potted plant alive!
I have the blackest thumb. I was in charge of weeding this year because my thumb is so black ;)
