2 - I only wish the reason you're willing to accept is the reason we're not blogging. The fact of the matter is that we've seen very little of each other over the past couple of weeks, and neither one of us has been home much either.
The new job is great - everyone in the HR dept is doing poorly when it comes to concealing their excitement about me being there. Most everyone else at this organization is super friendly, too (I almost missed my train yesterday because a really nice man, who was also a very slow walker, struck up a conversation when we were walking out the front door of the building and I didn't want to be rude). I'll have a pretty heavy workload, but nothing I can't handle. Working there will be very enjoyable!
We found someone to replace me at my old job, and I'm going to be going back one afternoon each weekend, Tuesday evenings, and 11/12 and 11/23 as I'm off at the new place entirely on those days. With concerts this and next weekend, followed by gigs starting right after Thanksgiving, it's going to be a wacky few weeks. I've committed to sticking here through the end of November, and I hope I can allow myself to let it go completely after that...
So, that's all for now. I have some really funny Siggy pictures to post, which I'll hopefully get to tomorrow as well!

Being busy can be good, as long as it calms down within a reasonable amount of time. That is great that your new job and people are so enjoyable. :) Hooray! A much needed and deserved change.
