Finally!

We own our apartment. :-)

After last week's snafu, I was so frustrated that I figured something else was sure to go wrong yesterday, which was our second try at closing - we were sitting in the lobby at the title company and I was still figuring something was bound to go wrong. Not so. It did end up taking close to 2 1/2 hours, but everything is all set. Finally!

This means:
1. I can get a new job!!!! The search begins in earnest this week, and my Avatar is dressed accordingly
2. They can install our new sliding glass doors (which they actually did a few days early)
3. We can plan our garden/patio for next year and get a few beds in before the winter
4. We can paint

Planing/planting for next year's garden is first, and we're going to the Home Depot later today to start. Painting will be #2, and probably begin in October. After painting is done we're heading to Ikea to pick out a few more furniture pieces. Hooray!

On a different note, Evi is on a cruise this week (yes, Kristin, it's spelled 'cruise' not 'cruze') and you can see where her boat is by visiting Pricess' web cam page.

On another different note, I just discovered my 10 year old cousin Nicky (or is he 11?) has begun to post on "The Cousins" blog. Fun!
