Damn!
So, I got a spot at Opera Idol auditions this Sunday - only problem is, it's at 1:10pm downtown, much too early considering Oma & Ota want us all to be at brunch with them at noon in Des Plaines. I e-mailed the audition folks back to ask if I could have a later time. I should hear by tomorrow...

Could Oma & Ota possibly rearrange brunch plans? I mean, it's Opera Idol!!!

No, Oma & Ota can't rearrange brunch plans - they want us all to be at the Kindergruppe (German club kids' group) bruch this Sunday. No way would I ask to bow out either - I mean, 55 years is a long time to be married, and Oma really never asks for anything from me...

Have you heard back from the Opera Idol people yet!?! I really hope they can rearrange things for you, otherwise they will be missing out!
