Election day thoughts...

So, random thought I had this morning walking to work...do homeless people get to vote? I mean, you have to have an address to register, don't you? That would say to me that they don't get to, which really isn't fair. But, then again, I guess if they did vote and didn't have an address, there would be a lot of potential for them voting multiple times. Does anyone know how this works?

On a completely different note - some entertainment in the bathroom at the train station this morning. There was a woman in there shouting, "Ya...ya...ya'll need to be quiet while I'm on the toilet." Whatever - this is almost as good as the people who walk down the street talking to themselves...

You need a mailing address to vote. If there is a shelter where a homeless person receives mail, they may be able to register at that address. If they are still registered at the address on their driver's liscense, then that would also be a possibility.

Hahahahaha! That's funny! It reminds me of living in Marycrest and people sitting in the bathrooms on the phone.

Oh, are you not supposed to talk to people on the phone while you are on the toilet? In that case...sorry Trey...

Kilroy was here!

hahaha A2.

'Mom' is correct. If they do register they can use a shelter address, if one is available.

They definitely can vote. Apparently a few years back people in a small town went around parts of the country, picking up homeless people, and dropping them off in that town to increase supporters, with a caveat they had to vote for this one person. They did, he won, they then dumped the people in the closest large city - Portland.
