A blog is a place for me to post about things that annoy me, among other things. You are allowed to disagree, but not if you don't identify yourself. Next time you post, please state your name. If you don't, your comment will be deleted.
Additionally, the fact that the girl wears flip flops wouldn't bother me if she weren't completely useless besides. Another example of this, yesterday I discovered she's not quite up to speed on alphabetical order. She was filing employee timesheets, and continually put a name beginning with "Sh" before a name beginning with "Sch." Maybe I should sing the alphabet song with her a few times to drill it in...

I agree Viki, you are completely entitled to rant, rave, and complain about anything you want. If people don't want to hear what you have to say then they should stop reading!
Yes, please, sing the alphabet song!!
It's your blog Viki, say whatever you want, that's what it is here for!
I am with you on the Anonymous posting, never fun. At least own up to your opinion, or don't hold one.
BTW: I completely agree with you that flip flops are not business attire, but I have to say I wear them to work all the time. To my defense, I do work for a very odd airline that values individuality. It took me quite a while to get used to having meeting with VPs in shorts and tennis shoes and being able to wear just about anything but PJs to work!

As Desmond would say, "Amen Brutha!" Okay, I hope you got the LOST reference. I went ballistic when someone left an anonymous comment in my blog. I hate it when people can't own up to who they are when they say things....grrrr...I promise to always leave my name when I disagree with you...te-he!
ps. I also hate it when people say things in my blog and they don't even know me!
pps. Maybe it was flipflop girl.....ooooooohhhhhhhh!!!!!!
Oooooooooh, what if it WAS flipflop girl!?!?!
That's funny... Lisa, Sarah and I all thinking that it IS flip flop girl! You have said that everyone is entitled to their opinions, but it is YOUR blog... if they feel so stongly then they need to get their own blog.
It is your own blog and you are entitled to your own thoughts. But when you put it out for the public to read and post a comment on, you must be prepaired for a comment that may not agree with you. I am just randomly looking and stumbled upon your's. I am a lover of flip flops but agree they aren't work attire unless they resemble a dress sandle more than your average beach wear.
On another note. A word of advice, you might want to becareful with what you write since you have your full name for all to see. You may have a boss stumble across and see some of your thoughts. I have heard of people loosing jobs due to what they put on their myspace. Just a thought from a random reader. Have a wonderful weekend! And I think it's awesome to have such a huge participation with your family and friends. I may have to get one of these and get my fam. started on it. :)
no random people ever read my blog! you're cool, viki!
I was thinking it might be flipflop girl, too. Or someone else from the office. Interesting...
Carrie, thank you for identifying yourself and for your words of advice. Again, I'm fine with people disagreeing with me, but I think it's rude to disagree and use a scolding tone if you don't tell others who you are.
As for the flip flop girl, I was thinking it was her, too, but then she kept wearing flip flops. I don't think even she is that dense.
Additionally, if I lose my job because I posted notes about the flip flop girl and how her shoes bother me, I think I'm working at the wrong place. If anyone should get fired, it's her, because the boss has spoken to her about it and she's still doing it!
Who would have know that flip flop girl would drum up a random person viewing your blog. :-P
I want random people to read my blog too! But at the same time...I don't! HA!
Haha, that would be funny if it really was flip-flop girl. Maybe now she'll just keep wearing flip-slops to spite you. Then again...something tells me she's not smart enough to figure out something like that.
