Hooray for me that today is Wednesday but it's really like a Monday! September, aside from the weather being a bit cooler, is going to be like an extention of summer by the time all is said and done - with German Day this weekend, choir retreat next weekend, and Mark's wedding the following weekend, this month is going to be like a big party!
Ok, so on to the title of the message - as I was in the early part of my walk this morning (southeast corner of Madison & upper Wacker) I heard all kinds of monkey sounds coming out of a parking garage. Then it switched to bird sounds, then back to monkeys, and the entire time it was very loud. Everyone walking by looked very confused, but the parking attendant standing there was just hanging out reading the newspaper. Whatever...
Hopefully this will be followed by much more tonight - about the great Donau weekend, and yesterday's trip to the Shedd Aquarium - and if I can figure it out I'll add a picture or 2.

I bet they are trying to get rid of some bird from the garage. There's a Sears Hardware store that has sound effects outside (to keep the birds from nesting in their sign) in Kettering. Freaks me out every time I hear it.
Hooray for fall almost being here. I love this cooler weather.
Woo hoo! Monkeys!
You have a street called Wacker?!
H
We are so suppose to be together. From Wacker street on I was thinking, I am going to comment on Wacker street. Way to go Holly!
On to the sounds..
That is freaky. In Texas we just put those spikey things up so they can't land and poop on your car.

Crack me up!! I love monkeys!!! Maybe some got loose from the zoo???
Okay, i too felt the need to comment on Wacker. And found myself preoccupied with that word the entire entry! LOL! What does that say about our minds?
I figured out I can leave comments under anonymous....

wacker. ha. oh yeah, monkies are funny too. birds aren't as funny, but thinking about them being chased by monkies is funny.
how did i just spell monkeys wrong two times. geez...
Well, Karen, at least they weren't being chased by Monkees...that wouldn't be very funny at all. Just sad, really.
Justin and I had the Monkees theme song stuck in our heads this weekend! That's funny!

Product of my upbrining, but if I heard monkeys I would in fact expect to be chased by them. When I was 8 or 9 we were in Nepal and got chased by monkeys at an outdoor market. Fun times!
Ahhh! Watch out for the monkeys!
The mental picture of Nepal, being chased by monkeys and the Monkees theme song is absolutely halarious to me.
