I won...

...my Chicago Chamber Choir audition! I got a call yesterday evening. I have somewhere to sing for the next year! Hooray!!! I am going to keep exploring other options as well, but it's really nice to know this is a go.

On the heat - things are cooling off a little today (it's supposed to be 92 instead of 101, and the heat index will only be 100 instead of 114) but the AC still doesn't work. Folks at work are still wearing shorts, but my favorite is the one architect who walks around barefoot. :-)

That's awesome, Viki. Way to go. I'm not surprised, though, 'cause when Armand got back from seeing your show the other week, he just raved and raved about how good you were! Keep it up. I can't wait to get to hear you in action myself.

That's awesome V. You really are great!

As for the heat, I usually run around with my shirt off at home when I am hot. Don't guess that would do at work though...especially for you.

Kilroy was here!

Or do you run around with your shirt off BECAUSE you are hot...

Oh yeah, and my wife rocks!

Congratulations!! You DO rock, and I second Jelaine's comment of I can't wait to see you live myself.

P.S. I run around my work barefoot, must be an architect thing even though I am not practicing!

Congratulations Viki. We do want to see/hear you sometime.

We got an email at work this week from the big wigs- a reminder of the dress code. Apparently flip-flops aren't considered business casual. Who knew?

I just realized that my comment might have looked pretty funny...it was directed at A2 and not my wife...
