My mood swings of late

A lot of credit goes to Trey for putting up with me lately, and an apology goes out to all of you because I haven't had anything fun to post at all lately. I've been doing this job search for a month and a half now and while I've had several interviews and have been developing contacts and other leads besides, I'm really starting to get frustrated. Add in to that getting the apartment and life in general set up here, as well as any snafus (be sure to read my post from yesterday), and I've just been exhausted.

Good news, though - I bit the bullet and called Ravinia yesterday because I hadn't heard from them, had been expecting to, and couldn't let it drive me crazy all weekend. While I did have to leave a message in the guy's voicemail yesterday, there was a message in my e-mail inbox this morning asking me to come in next week for an interview with the GM and President. I confirmed by replying to the e-mail and leaving a voicemail message, and have been doing more research since then...can't find anything on the GM, but there's plenty on the President. :-)

So, that'll be all for me this weekend. This afternoon and evening I'll be relaxing, cooking some wurst, and catching up on ER, and tomorrow is the Jugendgruppe brunch so Trey and I finally get to see our German club friends again!
