I just saw a news headline about a girl swallowing her engagement ring that I couldn't help but click on. I was insanely curious, as Trey dropped my engagement ring in a glass of champage and as I downed it and saw something move in the bottom of my glass, I had visions of my throat being cut up by what my mind instantly thought was a shard of glass.

ReplyDeleteBut seriously - putting it in a glass of champagne? ok - at least it's clear and can be seen! How was she ever going to find the ring without knowing to look for it in a frosty?!?
When my brother proprosed to his now-wife it involved an ice cream sundae - but I don't know if she asked for a sundae and he came back with it IN the ice cream, or if he came back pretending to have ice cream in the bowl, but had a ring instead....
But then again...why put such an expensive item/ring in food? You have to get it cleaned before you ever wear it!
if you were getting engaged now a frosty might be just as appropriate!

I don't know how she didn't feel that when she swallowed it. When I eat a Frosty I still swirl each bite around in my mouth....
